Children from Peilding, Bunnythorpe, Aorangi, Makomako, Woodvillc and Rangiotu will be represented with Palmerston North children in the matinee performance, to bo given to-day at the Empire hall. “Flying Mae” was the children’s hero, and this will be their opportunity to help in a good cause. The tiny tots will start the programme with a drawing room entertainment. Next will follow a medley of vocal duets, music, character and humorous recitations. Finally a scene from “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” will be staged, showing a vivacious Pij.-k and a bright little Fairy Cobweb; also quarrelsome Titania and Oberon. Little Pauline Matthews will be the fairv dancer.
