GOOD FIELDS ENGAGED AT WASHDYKE TO-DAY SINGLE-POOL BETTING The South Canterbury Jockey Club 's autumn meeting will be held at Washdyke to-day. The fields are of even size and some good racing should result. The betting will be single-pool and horses likely to bo fancied are as under: — Tekapo Hurdles: Arctic Star, Black Duke, Coll. Electric Stakes: Pink Polly, Brevity, Passenger. Gladstone Trot: Peter Silk, Shrewdie. Timaru Cup: Eona Bay, Riptide, MeHeath. Smithfield Hack; Colombo, \ iolenta. Eosewill Handicap: Honour’s Lass, Dark Eose. Otipua Trot: Peter Silk, Shrewdie. Doncaster Handicap: Epris, Cheap Money.
