Coroner Praises Police Work

COMMENDATION POE THOROUGHNESS. An accident—an unknown man killed! But behind the scenes much labour had been expended before the police-files were completed and in readiness for presentation. The Coroner (Mr A. J. Graham) realised this yesterday when, after dealing with an inquest on an elderly man, who was fatally injured after being knocked down by a motor lorry on the Longburn-Karere highway recently, he commended the police authorities for the very thorough and painstaking manner in which they had investigated the matter.
