DEAR COC-S, Have you noticed how gay the shop windows are just now, especially rnosc showing tue newest displays of Easter eggs! They are like heralds announcing the advent of Easter, and what else? Why hot cross buns of course. Don’t you think hot cross buns are delicious, Gogs, with their tasty spicy flavour? However, I think Easter eggs attract you most. Am I not righ, Cogs .’ There are Easter Eggs of all shapes and sizes both large and small, and wrapped up in the gayest of silver paper, some with little chickens sitting on top and some filled with creamy marshmallow. This is hut the lighter side of Easter and I will tell you of the more serious side next week. I really believe Mr. Puz has a secret liking for these chocolate eggs for I often catch him peeping in the windows and the other day he was furtively carrying a rather large parcel which looked suspiciously roundish I’m sure it was an Easter egg he was taking home to Mrs. Puz. Again this week we have been victorious but strangly enough Mr. Puz doesn’t seem to mind. Perhaps he has a special puzzle up his sleeve. I was sorry I couldn’t see you the other day when you called, Gus, but I won’t disappoint you again. Did you enjoy your day in Palmerston North? Moonlight and Roses was in to see me too. Your friend, THE HUB.
