MORE POE PRIME MINISTER. United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright. LONDON, March 26. The Sun-Herald news agency says that the British Prime Minister ’s salary of £SOOO a year involves a yearly loss which is estimated at £3OOO after meeting State, social, and personal expenses. This omerged following a debate on a private member’s motion in the House of Commons which was carried by 150 votos to 56 urging the removal of anomalies in Ministerial salaries. The House agreed that the Prime Minister, instead of getting a lower salary than the law officers, should receive at least £BOOO, members of Cabinet £SOOO, and junior Ministers £2OOO. It was suggested that the Lord Chancellor, with a salary of £IO,OOO, should bo reduced to £BOOO. Tho rectifications would increase the salaries bill by £26,000, making a total of £IIB,OOO.
