Gift Evening
POPULAR COUPLE HONOURED On Thursday evening tho many friends of Miss Lynda Lett and Mr Jack Mills met at the Masonic hall to honour tlio guests with a gift evening to mark the approach of their marriage. Mr W. Murch, on behalf of those present, addressed a few words to the young people wishing them the best of good fortune for the future. Mr Jack Mills' responded and returned thanks for the many useful gifts that had been so kindly given them, and thanked Mr and Mrs Jackson and also Mrs East for arranging the evening. Music for dancing was provided by Mrs W. Murch, Miss L. White and Mr Peter Jackson.
