Manawatu Club’s Annual Fixture GOOD ENTRIES: AND HIGH , STANDARD The Manawatu V Poultry, Pigeon, Canary-and Foreign Bird Club held; its annual young bird show at ■ the Showgrounds yesterday;;: Staged with the objeot of improving breeding methods, the shew drew a-pleasing response, the total dumber of entries, being over 300. Despite ,the fact. that, 'the season has been a hard one for rearing poultry, the: standard was .very good, auguring wolf for the main show in June, F . , With Mr J. : H.
