The Tararua Power Board will hold its monthly meeting in Eketahuna ou Friday next. A meeting of the committee of tho Pahiatua Swimming Club was held on Monday evening, when it was decided to close the baths for the season on Saturday next. Tho treasurer submitted a report on tho club's financial position, in which it was disclosed that tho recent carnival had been run at a substantial loss, but notwithstanding this tho club showed a small credit balance.
