Gala Day
On Wednesday next a monster gala is being held to raise funds for special purposes for the Palmerston North Technical School. The party will be held in the assembly hall and the grounds about the school. There will be produce, cake, work, cooked food, flower, book and other stalls. Fun and entertainment will be provided for old and young. During the afternoon the Garrison Band will be in attendance. A judge is to undertake the difficult task of selecting the best infant under 12months. During the afternoon and evening there will be a number of novelty items by the students. To provide the best of music for those who like dancing a professional orchestra has been engaged. It is hoped that ex-stu-dents, parents and others interested in the welfare of the school will give the gala all the support they can.
