Soviet's Submarine Superiority
NEARLY DOUBLE BRITAIN’S FLEET United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright. Received Monday, 9.50 p.m. LONDON, March 16. Mr Hector Bywatcr, the Daily Telegraph’s naval correspondent, says the German Admiralty, whose information on Russian naval matters is usually most reliable, states that the Soviet possesses 96 submarines and man}more are being constructed, compared with France’s 92, United States’ 90, Italy’s 70, Japan's 07, the British Empire’s 59 and Germany’s 2S.
