Fire in Maitland Colliery
SCENE OF PREVIOUS DISASTER United Press Association—By Electrle Telegraph.—Copyright. Received Monday, 11 p.m. SYDNEY, March 16. A fire has broken out at.the Bellbird colliery in the Maitland district, and the men are now sealing off the danger area. A fire and explosion in this colliery in 1923 caused the deaths of 21 miners.
