Women’s Round Table Club Opens 1936 Session

The first meeting of the year of the Women’s. Bound Table Club was held in the Y.W.C.A. Club-rooms last evening, Mrs Galbraith presiding _ in the absence of the president, Miss Fitzgerald. “Current Events” were in the capable hands of Mr E. H. Billow, who gave a most comprehensive survey of the European situation. Group discussions on “War” and “Peace” were led by Miss Boss and Miss Musgrave and summed up by Miss Grant.

Tho programme concluded with a rehearsed reading of an amusing play, “The Altogether,’’ (Dion Titheradge), produced by Mrs J. Garde Grimshaw, the readers being Misses P. Hindle, Ashley, Boss and Christensen, Supper was later served.
