HILARIOUS COMPLICATIONS IN * DOUBLE FEATURE BILL

(Kosy: Screening Saturday.) The seltzer water industry went on the upswing during the filming of Paramount’s new comedy romance, “Two for To-night” featuring Bing Crosby, Joan Bennett, Mary Boland, and Lynne Overman.

More than 300 syphons were used in a seltzer water battle scene in the picture, launched by a crooner in a quest for romance in a night club. About 50 extras, more or less rainproof, are on hand to take part in the sequence.

“Two for To-night,” a comedy with music, tells of the amusing adventures which befall three brothers, one a composer, the other a pianist and the third a singer of popular songs. The crooner becomes involved with a theatrical producer who mistakes him for a playwright. Many hilarious complications result from the misunderstanding. Romance, musie and comedy abound in Crosby’s latest production. Mack Gordon and Harry Revel, noted songwriters, provided the five hit tunes. Frank Tuttle directed.
