PROFESSIONAL GOLF TOURNEY AT HUTT NEXT MONTH
Advico was received in Palmerston North during the week end that the New Zealand professional golfers were to hold a tournament on the Hutt course on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, March 5, 6 and 7. A fair amount of prize money is already in sight and the placed competitors in the championship are to receive £25, £lO and £5 respectively. The executive of the professional association is very keen to make this tournament an annual event, and it hopes for an entry 'which will serve as an encouragement for next year. Entries will be received by R. C. Butters, Miramar Golf Club, Wellington.
