Girl Cyclist Hit by Car
FATAL ACCIDENT AT NIGHT Per Press Association. ... INVERCARGILL, Last Night. Elies Road, near Rugby Park, was the scene of a fatal accident this evening at 8 o’clock. A car driven by a young man, J. C. B. Glass, collided with a cyclist, Joan, Lorraine Nicholson,, aged 16, daughter of Mr. J. R. NichoL son, of Invercargill, who suffered severe head injuries and died while being taken to hospital in an ambulance. The motorist and cyclist, were travel ling in opposite directions.
