Car Strikes Pedestrian
ELDERLY MAN SERIOUSLY INJURED. Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, Feb. 24. Knocked down by a motor car at an intersection on the Great South Road and Manukua road last evening a pedestrian, an elderly man, John W. Beston, of Epsom suffered a fracture of his skul] and other injuries. He was conveyed to hospital. His condition to-day is serious. It is understood the driver and a male companion have since reported the accident to the police,
