Mangaweka Sale

The New Zealand Farmers’ Co-op. Distributing Co., Ltd., reports an entry of approximately 1500 sheep and 20 cattle at the above fixture on Thursday. The sheep entry comprised several pens of good ewes and lambs, but also included a fair number of small pens of tail end sorts.

Dalgety and Company, Ltd., report quite a good entry of sheep and lambs came forward to the usual stock sale held last Thursday. There were many small lots comprising clean up lines of ewes and lambs, but the attendance was good and a sound sale resulted, prices remaining firm, and there was a total clearance at auction.
