Foxton Beach Road Improvements
HARBOUR EOARD DEPUTATION TO WAIT ON MINISTER
At ycstcrdaay's meeting of the Foxton Harbour Board, mention was made of the importance oi the Beach road, the need of putting it in a condition to cater for the requirements of the district, and of the necessity of assistance by way of subsidy from the Highway’s Board. After considerable discussion as to the best method of helping along the work, it was resolved that a deputation consisting of Messrs M. B. Perreau and F. C. Raikes, should wait oa the Minister of Public Works (the Hon. R. Semple) to-day with a view of enlisting his help in securing a subsidy from the Highways Board.
