ACTRESS MAY LEAVE U.S.A. * HOLLYWOOD, Dec. 29. Marlene Dietrich, according to reports now current, is planning to leave the United States. She is reported to have said that she is going to Europe in February, and “very possibly" will remain there, as living in California is “altogether too expensive. ’ ’ State, Federal and local taxes, Miss Dietrich complained in an interview, took so much of her income that she was unable to save against the day of her retirement from the screen. Her protests are similar to .thoso recently made by Mary PicMord, William Powell and Air W. R. Hearst, the newspaper proprietor. Further, she has to maintain six bodyguards for her daughter, and she says she has paid them good salaries for two years.
