Sensation in Perth Trotting Circles
CHANGE OP OWNER’S PLANS UPSET CALCULATIONS
United Press Association—Bv Electric Telegraph.—Copyright. Received Sunda3 r , 7 p.m. PERTH, Feb. 20. There was considerable surprise and comment in trotting circles when it was discovered after much publicity had been given to an arrangement between the Trotting Association and Rudd, part owner of Evicus, the lntcr-Uominion champion, for a trial to break the mile record at the meeting to-night, that both Evicus and Emilius Way, who it was announced would remain in Western Australia for some time, had been entrained last night for Kalgoorlie and Adelaide, where it is understood they will participate in races with other intcr-Dominion horses. Rudd entrained last night and the association was not notified of any change in his plans.
