Feilding Stock Sale

New Zealand Farmers' Co-op. report on tho Feilding sale as follows: — A very heavy yarding of ewes and lambs came forward. Although, with a few exceptions, tho owes offered were failing mouth, the demand was exceptionally keen and values consigning tho quality wero fully up to those ruling at the ewe fair. A heavy yarding of rape and store lambs met with very animated competition, a total clearance being made at increased prices. A small yarding of fat sheep 6old at prices on a par with last sale. Very few cattlo were yarded. Cow and heifer beef sold at slightly higher rates.

Fat sheep: Fat lambs, 19s 6d, 21s, 22s 6d, 235, 265; fat wethers, 235, 24s 6d, 255, 265; fat ewes, Iss, 15s 6d, 16s, 16s 6d. Store sheep: Two-tooth ewes, a/c E. M. Mcyrick, 38s 7d; a/c C. Stewart, 34s 4d; others, 30s 4d, 31s, 31s 6d, o2s, 335. Four-year owes, a/c J. J. Bryce, 2Ss 3d; others, 245, 255, 26s 3d. Fiveyear ewes, a/e E. M. Meyrick, 2is sd; others, 18s 6d, 20s, 21s, 22s lOd, 23s 6d. Five and six-year ewes, 16s 6d, .17s 9d, 18s 6d, 19s, 20s. Lambs: B.f. lambs (shorn), 15s, 16s 6d, 17s, 17s 7d, 17s lOd, 18s; w.f.w. lambs, 12s, 13s 6d, 15s, 16s od, 17s 6d; cwo lambs, 20s 3d, 21s, 22s 6d, 23s 60, 25s Bd. Fat cattle: Fat cows, £3 10s, £3 15s, £4, £4 12s 6d, £5; fat heifers, £3, £3 12s Cd, £4.
