RECORD ATTENDANCE SATURDAY Throughout the twelve hours the palaco was open for inspection on Saturday thero was a continuous qucuo of people waiting for admission, and when 9 p.m. came it was found that 1202 had paid at the door. This is believed to bo equal to any one day attendance in Melbourne and Auckland, and must givo very convincing proof of Palmerston North’s preeminence as a good business centre. For the Gh days tho palaco has been on view 4106 patrons have visited it, and this figure compares favourably with Auckland, where the average weekly attendance over five weeks was 6000, and Auckland's population is nino times greater than Palmerston North's. There can be no doubt that the publicity for tho local season been effective. Messrs C. M. Ross Ltd., whilst providing space for the palace, have also generously advertised it in the papers and by means of circulars through their hugo mailing list. The local Press has also freely given space for paragraphs about the palace, and then day by day there is the delighted patron to spread the glad news of the wonders of Titania’s Court. Quite a number of people are making second visits so j that the inexhaustible beauties may be further examined.

It is advisable to mention to those who wero unable to gain admission on Saturday that the palace will continue ou view until Wednesday, March 4, daily from 9 to 5, except on Wednesdays, when the hours aro 9 to 12 noou and on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
