Mrs. H. D. Gray, of Tangarakau, is visiting Mrs. W. Kirkland, Foxton. Mr. and Mrs. F. W. Gowing, of Heretaunga street, left yesterday on a a to Now Plymouth. Mrs J. Virtue, of Timaru, and Mrs G. B. Williams, of Ashburton, are visiting Palmerston North for the Walker— Murdoch wedding. Mrs. Gordon Kilpatrick, with her small daughter Lois, of Christchurch, who has been staying with her sister, Mrs. G. Guard, of Bunnythorpe, is now holidaying in New Plymouth. Mr. T. H. McCombs, M.P. (Lyttelton),'was in Palmerston North this week to -isit his sister, Miss McCombs, who has ente-od upon research work at Massey College. Mrs. McCombs accom panied her husband.
