A dance and euchre party in aid of the Makino King Carnival is to be held in the Makino Hall on Wednesday next. Prior to the commencement of business at last evening’s meeting of the Feilding A. and P. Association, the president (Mr H. J. Lancaster) referred to the death of King George and a motion of sympathy witn the Royal Family was passed in silence.
