Famous Goalkeeper Passes.

The death of a goalkeeper* a Welsh international, who did not concede a single goal in matches which gave his club the F.A. Cup, was recently announced. He was Lieut.-Colonel Eobert Herbert Mills-Eoberts, of Festiniog, North Wales. He died in a Bournemouth nursing home, aged 73. The club which achieved this remarkable record was Preston North End, and the season was 1888-89. In that same season the club were champions of the Football League—without losing a match.
