At the wool sales 12,609 bules were offered and 12,251 sold, also 1328 privately. The market was par to live per cent higher compared with last week’s closing rates. Competition was keen from the Japanese, Yorkshire and Continental sections with good supi port from local users. Greasy Merino sold to 31d.

Last week’s average price was £lB 5s per bale and 15.1 d. per tb.
