SUBSTANTIAL IMPROVEMENT IN UNEMPLOYMENT

The Commonwealth Statistician reports that the unemployment rale which was 13.7 in November was tho lowest since November 1929, when it was 13.1 per cent. The improvement during the quarter ended November last was the greatest recorded for any similar period since tho tide of unemployment turned in 1932.
