"Shiny Make-up”
Summer time will require a different type of make-up. Your winter makeup on a suntanned skin will look pasty. You will use a lotion, instead of cold
cream as a powder base. This i 3 much more soothing and cooling on hot summer days. This year, we will no doubt follow the latest make-up from Hollywood. This is called the ‘‘Shiny make-up.” This means that you use the minimum of make-up possible —either no face powder, or very little powder over a greasy based cream, and a bright lipstick. In plain words, a shiny make-up is just the very thing which you have for years been trying unsucessfully to overcome. So all you oily skin people can be quite pleased and bask in the fact that for once you will ba fashionable,
