MIXED DOUBLES WON BY J. 01 CHARTERS AND MISS NICHOLLS
The Manawatu Lawn Tennis Association’s annual , tournament was brought to a conclusion yesterday morning, the weather being fine and the; courts in remarkably good- order considering the soaking they had received.

J. C. Charters and Miss D. Nicholls (Wellington) • beat N. Sturt and Miss Macfarlane (Auckland), G —l, G—2. This game was completed after the presentation of . prizes on Thursday evening.

T. Louisson and Marchant beat Dr. O’Connor (Masterton) and Dickie, 9—5. ■
Ladies’ Handicap Doubles Pinal.
