RESULTS OF SPORTS
Tho first club night of the Peilding Swimming Club was held on Thursday evening when there was a fair attendance. The results of the events were as follows: —
Girls’ 25 yards: D. Sporle 1, P. Johnson 2.
Ladies’ 50 yards: P. Johnson 1, L Harford 2.
Boys’ 50 yards: A. Sporle 1, A, Grozier 2.
Boys’ 50 yards’ breaststroke: B. Ruthven 1, N. Grozier 2. Men’s 50 yards: C. Wilkinson 1, P, Hartord 2.
Men's 10’Jyirds: A. Sporle I J Selves 2.
Ladies’ dive: B. Harford 3, R. Seiver3 2.
Robinson Badges: J. Seivers .(captain), D. Sporle, T. Levy and N. Crozier.
It was a matter fer regret that some of last year’s members were seen the bank last night instead of in the water. Thero are a number of carnivals ahead, and club members should take part in tho club nights to asr the club handicapper to furnish accurate results to the centre’s handicapper.
