Postal Facilities

(To the Editor.)

Sir, —We see from this morning’s “Times’’ that we are promised “in creased accommodation at the Money Order counter’’ at the Chief (or only) Post Office at Palmerston North. That is all very well in its way, and a step in the right direction, but it does not bring that counter any nearer to the resident of, say, the Boundary road, who will still liavo to make his way to the Square to buy his Is postal note or Id stamp. No what we want are branch offices, and several of them.—l am, etc., PBOGEESS.
