MEN ORDERED BACK TO WORK United Press Association.—By Electric Telegraph.-—Copyright. Received Tuesday, 0.50 p.m. LONDON, Oct. 22. By an overwhelming majority the South Wales coalfield conference decided that the 15,000 to 20,000 striking minors should resumo on the management’s undertaking to recognise only tho Miners’ Federation of which 93 per cent, are members.
This ends the “stay-in” strikes which began ns a protest against the employment of non-unionists who formed under the title of an industrial union.
