Cheltenham Rifle Club
The Cheltenham Difie Club opened the season last Saturday with a sweepstake over ranges of 300, 500 and 000 yards. Tho weather was favourable and some good shooting resulted. Tho following are the scores at 300, 500 and 600 yards respectively: —J. H. Williamson 33, 35, 30, (hep. 5)—103; P. Ohurclier 33, 31, 35, (2) —101; H. Wood 30, 32, 31, (0)—99; S. Mayhew 2, 31, 33, (1) —97; I. McLean 28, 29, 30, (10) 97; V. Barrow 31, 33, 31, (1) —96; T. Whitehead 32, 34, 23, (3) —93: D. Williamson 22, 29, 25, (15)—91; J. C. Williamson 27, 32, 28, (scr)— 87; E. Taylor 26, 20, 29, (10),—85. Tho club will fire for the Port cup next Saturday.
