“Tho association has persisted with its representations for the tar-sealing of this last link in the main ’ highway between Wanganui and Wellington, and is pleased to be able to report that an agreement has been arrived at between the Manawatu County Council and the Main Highways Board, for the preparation and sealing of the balance of the Foxton-Sanson highway,” states the annual report of the Automobi 1 Association (Wanganui). “It will depend on the weather whether the whole of the balance of the road can be sealed this financial year, but a portion will be done, and the, surface of the balance will be greatly improved.”
