Feilding Acclimatisation Society
LIBERATION OF TROUT FRY Yesterday officials of the Feilding Acclimatisation Society were engaged upon the work of liberating in. the local and district streams and rivers some 25,000 brown trout fry. Tho consignment of 50,000 received from the Masferton hatcheries arrived in excellent order and the liberation of the brown was successfully carried out. The balance of the consignment, 25,000 rainbow trout, were placed in the society’s holding ponds and will be liberated later.
