On Saturday there •were live games in progress at the Sportsground, and at the adjournment the ten teams were the guests of the Mayor and Mayoress (Mr and Mrs A. E. Mansford) at afternoon tea, Mr F. J. Oakley, a vicepresident. of the Cricket Association, later thanking their host and hostess for the keen interest they had always taken in cricket and for the many occasions on which they had extended hospitality.
