Pedigree Jersey Sale
Tho 13th annual sale of pedigree Jersey bulls will be held at tho Showgrounds, Dannevirke, on Tuesday, October 8, under tho auspices of the Danncvirko District Jersey Cattle Club. A very limited number of bulls arc availablo* this year and thoso on the look-out for pedigree bulls would be wise to consider attending this sale. The entries catalogued were all inspected iu the paddock prior to acceptance, to ensuro that only bulls in first-class condition will enter the sale ring. Tho bulls will be subject again to a further inspection on the morning of tho sale. Three heifers and an aged Jersey cow will be offered during the day. Practically 50 per cent, of the bulls offered are eligible through the production of the dam as sires of marked calves. This information and all other details of each entry is in the catalogue, which may be had free on application to the secretary of the club, box 38, Dannevirke, or the auctioneers, n.B. Farmers’ Co-op., and Wright Stephenson and Co. Tho sale commences at 11 a.m., being preceded by the show at 10.30 a.m. Light refreshments will bo available on the grounds.
