SEPTEMBER BOGEY HANDICAP AT HOKOWHITU Tho club competition at Hokowhitu on Saturday was tho September bogey handicap aud the conditions could not have been better, the weather being delightfully lino and the course in wonderfully good order. E. R. Wimsctt, with a card of 2-up, headed the A grade list with 0. H. Williams, 1-up on tho Colonel, in second place. J. M. Rose (2-up) won the B grade with H. E. Eairey and J. K. of the morning round but at tho tenth hole in the afternoon Macday was three up. Ussher squared the match at tho 34th and the next was halved, but Macday missed an 18-inch putt for a half on the last green, Ussher taking the hole.
