Intending exhibitors at the forthcoming Royal Show who have not already made their entries in the stock section are reminded that entries close on Saturday next, the 2Sth instant. Tho Ilawke's Bay A. and P. Society has for a considerable time past been making preparations to provide for all classes of stock and in anticipation of a large increase in the Clydesdale horso section a number of additional boxes have been added and over 200 new pig pens erected. Concrete floors have been laid down in tho pig pens and provision mado for washing pigs and it is considered by thoso competent to judge that the accommodation now provided leaves nothing for complaint. Since tho issue of the schedule Lady McLean has donated a perpetual challenge cup valued at 50 guineas as a memorial to the late Sir Douglas McLean and this cup for tho Royal Show has been allocated for most points in the Clydesdale section. Exhibitors of stock are specially reminded that the form at the end of the schedule in reference to transit of stock ana accommodation is specially required when forwarding their entries. Exhibitors requiring accommodation for themselves and/or stockmen arc requested to forward their requirements without delay.
