Fatal Snake Bites
ATTACK THEOUGH BAG As a result of being bitten in several places by snhkes -which attacked him through a bag ho -was carrying, John Maguire, aged 29, died recently in Albury Hospital, Hew South Wales. With Mervyn Preeman, Maguire captured several snakes on rivor flats near Ai'bury. They returned to town in a car and placed tiger suakes in a sugar bag, intending to send them to the city, where there is a regular market, for them. It is stated that, with apparent unconcern, Maguire placed the bag over his shoulder. Several snakes immediately attacked him through tho bag and ho was bitten abSut tho should ers.
