Bulls Sale
Dalgct.y and Go., Ltd., report having ueld their fortnightly sale at Bulls on Monday, August 19, when there was a small entry of sheep, cattle and pigs. Fat cattle wore in excellent demand and sold fully up to ruling rates. Dairy stock was mixed in quality and competition was not strong. There was no competition for pigs. Wc quote: — Ewes, with lambs at foot, tailed, 2Ss; wether hoggets, IGs Gd. Fat cows, 35s to £5; store cows and heifers, 10s, 17s Gd, 25s to £3; dairy cows close to profit, £2 to £3 10s; heifers close to profit, 35s to £3 12s Gd. A quantity of hay, timber and sundries sold at market price.
