Cross Country Championship
NEW ZEALAND OEPER TO SEND TEAM ACCEPTED TEST RACE WITH AUSTRALIA LIKELY SYDNEY, July 24. Tiie New South Wales Amateur Athletic Association to-day cabled New Zealand accepting the offer to send. a team to compete for the Australian Cross Country Championship. Mr B. r. Heathwood, the secretary, stated that, the offer provides for the accomodation of the visitors, which was made by local .athletes, thus removing, the only obstacle in acceptance of the visit. As-the New Zealanders cannot hold tho Australian title a test race botween Australia and New Zealand .is likely to be run in conjunction with the championship.
