No Trace of Missing Airman
SLENDER HOPE OF FINDING HIM Per Press Association. HASTINGS, Last Night. With some slight improvement in the weather conditions this afternoon four planes from the Hawke’s Bay and East Coast Aero Club’s grounds were able to go out about two o’clock in search of the missing airman, Mr Harnish Armstrong, but no trace was found. Foot parties were unable to venture out on account of the misty conditions which made the task too dangerous.
It is now nearly five whole clays since Mr Armstrong set out for Hastings, and hopes of finding him appear to he remote. Indications at the moment are that the weather will grow worse rather than better.
