From Our Own Correspondent. Another large crowd attended the liatl committee's euchre evening-, there being over !M) players. The. following won the prizes:—Ladies: Mrs. C. Puklowski (13 games), Miss V. Puklowski (11) games), Mrs. Purcell (4 games), consolation; men: Messrs. Buchanan and Clarence Puklowski (10 games each), Messrs. J. Uomicy and J. Corbon (4)) tied for the consolation, the latter winning. Following supper, the floor was cleared and a professional orchestra supplied music for a jolly old time dance in which all participated. Mr. IX. Gore was an efficient M.C. Miss Mavis Jackson Is an Opiki visitor staying with Mrs. W. McMurray. Mr. and Mrs, G. McClelland have returned to the river city.
