Palmerston North Girl Guides' Association
MONTHLY MEETING HELD The monthly meeting of the Palmerston North Girl Guides’ Association was held yesterday afternoon, Mrs G. A. Eliott (District Commissioner) presiding. Also present were Mesdames F. Wilson, M. Aitehison, F. Bennett, J. H. Whyte, A. E. Holmes, J. M. Eoberts, Stewart, J. W. Body, W. F. Field, A. E. Wimsctt, and Miss At. Warren (lion, secretary). Mrs Field was tendered a vote of congratulation on becoming a J.P. A motion of sympathy was passed with tho relatives of the Into Mr W. H. Barnard, and it was decided to send a letter of sympathy. It was proposed that members of the executive should make efforts to raise the money for the guide levy and reDort on their success at the next meet-
Major L. AleGaffin Ayroto consenting to act as examiner for the airwoman’s badge, and expressed Avillingness to do anything to assist the Guide movement. —Appreciation Avas voiced.
