Prom Our Own Correspondent. The fortnightly meeting- of the Lind Lodge of Druids was held last week when A.D. Bro. R. W. Guy presided over a good attendance of members. Election of officers took place, the following being chosen:—A.D., .Bro. C. Osman; V.A., Sis. It. Griffiths; secretary, Bro. M. Griffiths; treasurer, Bro. V. Wilton; 1.G., Bro. S. Lloyd; 0.G., Sis. Osman; A.D.B's Sis. E. Guy, and Sis. V. Wilton; V.A.B’s, Sis. E. Atkinson and Bro. W. E. GUy; M.C., Bro. E. Titcombe. A social evening will bo held next Lodge night. A dance organised by the tennis club committee was held on Thursday evening. Music was supplied by a professional orchestra from Palmerston North and extras were jjlayed by Mrs. G. Williams. After supper Mr. A. Moody (the secretary) took the opportunity of presenting the trophies to the winners of the yankee tournament held during the season. The lucky door ticket competition was won by Mrs. N. Pope and Mr. A. Free. The lucky gay Gordons was won by Miss A. Mason and Mr. T. Mason, and the Monte Carlo waltz by Mrs. N. Pope and Mr. A. Hodgson. A competition was won by Mrs. F. Gyde. Mr. A. Moody was M.C. Among those present were Misses D. Wilton, pink satin; A. Anderson, green velvet and lace; R. Corlett, black marocain; D. Towler, pink elephant crepe; E. Corlett, black lace; Mrs.i A. Wlton, black lace; N. Ennis, black and red satin; A. Mason, white organdie; H. Johnson, lemon taffeta; J. Hallman (Linton), white silk voile; M. Trigged, black marocain; M. Gilmour, white windswept satin; L. Gilmour, black georgette and lace; M. Schwass, black georgette; if. Johnson, lemon taffeta; Mrs. N. Pope, black georgette and lace; N. Osman, green satin. Mrs. J. Crowther and family, of Khandallah, were the guests of Mr. and Mrs. N. Gunning during the week-end. Miss R. Corlett spent the week-end With friends in Levin.
