MR. A. S. HOLMS TO FILL VACANCY Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, Last Night. The appointment of Mr. A. S. Holms, of Waimahaka, Southland, to the New Zealand Meat Producers’ Board was announced by the Minister for Agriculture (Hon. 6. E. Macmillan) following a meeting of Cabinet this afternoon. Mr. Holms succeeds Mr. Dfivid Jones as Government nominee on the board, Mr. Jones having resigned following his recent appointment as a member of executive Commission of Agriculture.
