Japan Prepared to Help Australia
STATEMENT BY NAVAL OFFICER United Press Association. —F.y Electric Telegraph.—Copyright. Received Monday, 9.10 p.m. MELBOURNE, April 29. Speaking at a civic reception to the officers of tho visiting Japanese ships, Rear-Admiral Nakamura said that, if Australia ever felt uneasy or feared anything, she should warn Japan, who would immediately como to her aid. Four- hundred, including representalives of the Australian Army, Navy and Air Force, attended the reception.
