Tho track was very heavy and the attendance fair. The tota'l'isator handled £15,181, compared with £21,517 10s for the corresponding day last year, a decreaso of £6330 10s. Imamint, Gay Broney,, Bonny Gay, Gay Rose and Kelly were tho early leaders, and along the top Gay Broney led from Imamint, Bonny Gay, Kelly, Rulanut and Delrain. At tho distance Gay Broney was still in front, with Bonny Gay, Delrain, Imamint, Kelly and Gay Roso in close attendance. In a good finish Kelly stayed well' to win from Gay Rose with Delrain a close third. Caliente was fourth. Won by three-quarters of a length; a head. Time, 2.11 1-5. JIT. DANNEVIRKE RACING CLUB ANNUAL MEETING The Dannevirke Racing Club’s annual meeting is to be held on Saturday and Monday, May 25 and 27, on the Woodville racecourse. The programme, which has been circulated and a generous response by owners and trainors on nomination night, Monday, May 13, is anticipated. There are to be seven races each day, with the Dannevirke Handicap and Hart gill’ Memorial a? the principal events. Other open races will be the Akitio Juvenile and "Weber Juvenile, both over five furlongs. The race secretary is Mr W. A. Lyon, secretary of the Woodville District Jockey Club.
