A R6JAI Canadian Mounted Fpliee eorpoTal', Michael Moriafty, -was shot dead while attempting to arrest Daniel Nnox, a farmer who had driven a bailiff off his farm at the point of a gun. Nnox, who was barricaded in a granary, was slain by the police after two hours’ battle.
